Organiser: Greater Wellington Regional Council

Are you interested in learning more about the different perspectives of people on bikes and bus drivers in Wellington?

Join us for a half-day Bus & Bike Road User workshop where people on bikes and bus drivers can discuss their viewpoints in a friendly, facilitated environment. This will include a skills session and ride on nearby streets with a trained instructor.

The workshops will be hosted by Greater Wellington Regional Council and local bus companies. The aim is to foster a better understanding of the pressures and issues on Wellington roads.

Morning tea will be provided along with bikes and helmets, or you can bring your own bike and helmet. Ideally you will be available on the rain date as well, however this is negotiable. Attendees will receive a $50 supermarket voucher in recognition for their participation.

When: Monday 30 April 2018 - the workshop is weather dependent and will be cancelled in poor weather, participants will be contacted the day before if it is to be cancelled

Time: 8:45am - 2pm (approx finish time)

Where: ASB Sports Centre, Kilbirnie

Please email Kate Bevin at Greater Wellington Regional Council at to find out more information or to register to attend.
